A 45-year-old woman lost her life in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Queens on Christmas night. The woman was discovered near the corner of 158th Street and 111th Avenue in South Jamaica at approximately 9:35 p.m. When authorities arrived, they found her injuries consistent with a vehicle collision, however, no vehicle was found at the scene, according to FOX 5 New York.

The NYPD later identified the victim as Antonina Freycinet, who was pronounced dead after being taken to Jamaica Hospital, reported ABC 7 New York. Freycinet resided just down the block from where the fatal incident occurred.
