In the spirit of community support and solidarity, the Saint Paul Police Department has once more shown their dedication to helping those in need. On the eve of Christmas, the department made a special delivery to the Hope Chest Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting breast cancer patients. The delivery was punctuated by a significant donation sparked by the department's annual Pink Patch Project.
The initiative, which involves the sale of pink patches along with challenge coins and water bottles, successfully raised $6,000 this year. These funds are earmarked to specifically help to ease the financial burdens that accompany the battle against breast cancer for patients within the community. It's a simple gesture that stands as testimony to the caring ethos that threads through Saint Paul.
This noble act was enthusiastically shared on the Saint Paul Police Department's social media, where they expressed their gratitude to those who contributed to the cause. The Police Department proclaimed, "We made a very special delivery to the Hope Chest Foundation just in time for the holidays!" The post went on to detail how the raised amount would be utilized, stating, "Hope Chest will use the money to help ease the financial burdens of those battling breast cancer in our community." This information was shared in a post from the police department's official Facebook page.
