A shooting occurred in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood this past Saturday when a silver Maserati was fired upon. Law enforcement responded to calls about gunshots at 12:20 p.m. on the 10200 block of Linden Avenue North, where they found multiple shell casings but no injuries, according to Seattle Police Department.
The police investigation revealed that the Maserati attempted to bypass a silver Jeep blocking its path. The Jeep’s driver exited the vehicle, pointed a handgun at the Maserati, and fired multiple shots. The Maserati escaped southbound, with the Jeep driver in pursuit. Police are searching for a suspect described as a Black male in his 20s with shoulder-length hair, last seen wearing a black hoodie.
The Gun Violence Reduction Unit is leading the investigation. Authorities are asking the public for help in locating either vehicle or providing relevant information. "Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000" according to Seattle Police Department Blotter. The case number is 2024-363555, and tipsters can remain anonymous. The investigation is ongoing.
