
A multi-vehicle collision on Sunday night in Lebanon City has left six individuals injured and caused substantial damage to local property. According to reports by CBS 21, the incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. at 440 Walnut Street and involved a vehicle crashing into a structure.
Upon arrival, first responders from Myerstown First Aid Unit found the scene with major damage bestowed upon three vehicles and two houses. Their condition remains a mystery, the six injured parties were either treated on the spot or transported to the hospital by EMS units, as disclosed by the Lebanon Professional Firefighters reported by ABC 27. Photos shared by a neighbor with WGAL News 8 depicted the extent of the wreckage.
The exact cause of the accident is yet unclear, with Lebanon police actively investigating the matter. CBS 21 reported that they are awaiting further details from police authorities.
Witnesses and victims are now dealing with the aftershock, as local residents rally to support those affected in the community. The Lebanon Professional Firefighters also confirmed the usage of multiple EMS units to bring the situation under control.
