A series of arrests stemming from search warrants and traffic stops in Sonoma County has netted multiple individuals on drug and weapon charges, as noted by the Sonoma Sheriff's office in a recent social media post. For two days, last Thursday and Friday, the Sheriff's Narcotics Unit, Property Crimes Unit, and patrol deputies conducted their operations resulting in numerous arrests and the confiscation of narcotics and firearms, including a machine gun.

In Windsor, the execution of the first search warrant led to the arrest of Craig Jones, who was found with five guns, quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, other illicit drugs, and cash. Two of the firearms were reported stolen, and Jones, following his booking, was released on $25,000 bail. That same day, a Windsor deputy made a traffic stop in Santa Rosa, uncovering about a half-pound of methamphetamine in a car driven by Cameron Chaddock-Jones, who was later released on $1,000 bail for a suspended license due to DUI. Passenger Gloria Avila was held on various drug charges, with bail set at $100,000.

Another traffic stop by a K9 deputy in Rohnert Park early last Friday uncovered over two ounces of methamphetamine, leading to Justin Longo of Dixon's arrest for multiple drug charges and a parole violation and Asia Gordon of Rohnert Park for possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding bench warrant. Longo is held without bail, whereas Gordon was cited for appearing in court. A subsequent search warrant in Vacaville by the Narcotics Unit, aided by the Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Unit, resulted in the seizure of more methamphetamine, over three gallons of Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), other drugs, an Uzi sub-machine gun, and a dismantled AK-47 and Colt .45 along with gun manufacturing equipment, leading to the arrest of Christian Moreno of Vacaville for violations of his pre-trial release terms and other charges.

The Sonoma Sheriff's Facebook post detailed that in addition to the drugs and firearms, equipment used for gun manufacturing and two "Glock switches" capable of converting handguns to fully automatic weapons were seized, highlighting the proactive efforts of the law enforcement teams in disrupting criminal activities. Moreno, who was among those arrested and faces numerous charges, remains in custody with bail set at $250,000, as reported by the Sonoma Sheriff's Office.
