
A tragic incident unfolded in Spanaway, Washington, when a man was fatally shot on Monday. According to FOX 13 Seattle, the Pierce County Sheriff's detectives have since been engaged in an investigation surrounding the events that led to a homicide at a private residence located on 165th Street East. A caller reported the shooting after a man was shot by another individual who then fled the crime scene.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a homicide at the 2300 block of 165th St. E. The male suspect has been taken into custody and detectives are on scene. The PIO will be located at 23rd Ave. E and 166th St. E. pic.twitter.com/0EAnxrgJH8
The suspected shooter was located and arrested shortly thereafter, mitigating any further dangers to the community. “We don’t have any threat or danger (remaining) to the community, and everybody has been accounted for,” Sgt. Darren Cappetto conveyed, in a statement obtained by The News Tribune.
At this stage, the details regarding the motives for the shooting are not known, and information concerning the suspect's and victim's ages has yet to be disclosed as detectives continue to piece together the relationship between the individuals involved.
