
A 16-year-old boy from Flushing died in a car accident on Monday afternoon near Frankenmuth. Michigan State Police said he was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala south on Dixie Highway when he lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided head-on with a 2021 Jeep. The crash happened around 2:10 p.m. near Willard Road in Birch Run Township, as stated by Audacy.
According to the Michigan State Police Third District on their X account, the crash fatally injured a teenager, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating the incident, while the 48-year-old woman driving the Jeep from Flint was not injured.
