According to CBS News Los Angeles, the shooting occurred just before 10:15 p.m. on Saturday in the 1000 block of E. Burnett Street. When the Signal Hill Police Department officers arrived, they discovered three male and four female teenagers with gunshot wounds.

The casualties of the gunfire ranged from 17 to 19 years old, and as they were being transported to the hospitals, with non-life-threatening injuries, six of them received treatment, as per information from FOX LA. Sadly, the 17-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries and was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification.
