The town of Wake Forest is revving up for some festive cheer with its 2024 #GatherGivesBack Holiday Toy Drive & Jeep Convoy this Sunday. In what's become an annual spectacle, participants will decorate their Jeeps and gather toys for the Toys for Lil Troops/US Veterans Corps. The parade of spirited vehicles is expected to bring a flush of excitement, and slightly more traffic, to the town's streets.

According to the Wake Forest's official announcement, the convoy will begin assembling at 5 p.m. in The Factory's lower parking lot at 1839 S. Main St. The procession will kick off at 6:30 p.m. under the watchful eyes of a police escort, winding through neighborhoods which, have been detailed on a map for residents' convenience.

Residents and through-travelers might encounter some delays during the event hours. The town advises those not attending the toy drive to steer clear of the route between 6:30 and 8 p.m to avoid the festive slowdown. The route is slated to return to The Factory around 8 p.m, marking the end of the charitable journey.
