
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying suspects involved in an armed carjacking that occurred in Southeast Washington, D.C. last Friday at approximately 4:00 p.m. Near the 3000 block of K Street, four individuals approached a victim sitting in their car, and one suspect displayed a handgun, demanding the car keys before fleeing in the stolen vehicle, according to the MPD's release.
While the victim's vehicle has been recovered, the suspects remain unidentified, and the Metropolitan Police Department continues its efforts to locate those responsible. In an attempt to gather information, authorities are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved.
