As Christmas draws near, the City of White Settlement residents are reminded to adjust their calendars for the holiday trash collection schedule. In a recent social media announcement from the City of White Settlement, it was noted that Frontier Waste Solutions will not be operating on Christmas Day, which falls on Wednesday. This cessation of service will create a cascading delay for residents whose trash pickup was scheduled for the latter part of that week.
According to the posted schedule, Wednesday's disruption on December 25 pushes the collection to Thursday, December 26. Similarly, those who had marked their calendars for Thursday will need to wait an additional day, as their trash will now be picked up on Friday, December 27th. Completing the shift, Friday's usual service will roll over to the weekend, with carts being emptied on Saturday, December 28. Given the company only rests its operations for three days across the year, the change serves as an infrequent yet significant reshuffling of routine.
Residents of the White Settlement community, preparing for the festivities, are being encouraged to plan in light of the revised schedule. Accommodating the one-day service delay may mean holding off on discarding the remnants of holiday revelry until the adjusted pickup times. The City's effort to communicate these changes aims to reduce any confusion and ensure a smooth transition through the holiday period.
