Amongst those apprehended, Gregory Hodge, stood out with a particularly troubling history—already on federal probation for trafficking a minor. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office shared this incident on their social media with a firm reminder, "Trying to hire a prostitute is a crime in Florida—a lesson 11 men learned the hard way earlier this month when they attempted to pick up prostitutes along the northern stretch of Philips Highway."

A sobering fact underlined by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office points to the tragic reality of the trade: "Most women in prostitution don’t want to be there—and most are desperate to escape."
