Philadelphia Police are actively investigating the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in the Frankford neighborhood of the city. The incident, which occurred just after 10 a.m. yesterday, took place on the 1800 block of Wakeling Street, as per the 6abc.
According to PHL17, the man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was quickly transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not made any arrests or recovered weapons related to the incident, as reported by FOX 29. The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact Homicide Detectives at 215-686-3334. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction, in line with the city's policy for homicide cases.
