The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a crash that occurred around 11:00 a.m. at the junction of Pearblossom Highway and 25th Street East. According to information provided by the Sheriff's Information Bureau, a 2022 grey Subaru Outback disobeyed a red traffic light and was subsequently broadsided by a 2014 Toyota Camry that was proceeding through the intersection on a green signal.
The collision resulted in devastating consequences; the young passenger of the Toyota was taken to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries. Additional individuals in the incident sustained injuries ranging from minor to severe. The 55-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Subaru has not been identified, and her condition remains undisclosed as per incident reports by KTLA.
