Arlington's local coffee scene has been invigorated by the entrance of Savor Coffee Bar and Eatery, a business that's as much an ode to passion as it is to flavor. The shop, nestled comfortably at 1101 East Bardin Road #101, first opened its doors during the pandemic, and according to Arlington Eats, it's quickly become a hotspot for coffee aficionados and foodies alike.
Founders Iman Ewtabaq and her husband, Mohamed Hegazy, had to think creatively when the world went into lockdown, and with a combined love for baking and coffee, they began to experiment at home. "We were sitting at home during the pandemic like everybody else," Iman stated, as per City of Arlington news release. "I love baking, and my husband is a big coffee lover, so he bought a coffee roaster. We started roasting our own beans, and one day we were visiting Arlington and saw this place was for sale." Their venture quickly became more than a pastime, blending Moroccan-inspired flavors with premium coffee concoctions.
This couple's establishment is donning quite the menu, featuring an array of baked goodies, including pistachio and almond croissants, not to mention their popular crepes and sandwiches.
