Amidst the chaos, Givens also made off with a pack of firewood before fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement officers did not have to search long for Givens, who was apprehended near the convenience store and taken into custody. His list of charges includes Robbery with a Weapon, Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Petit Theft, and Criminal Mischief. Givens currently remains incarcerated, being held on no bond, as per the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Details of the arrest noted that Givens, resisted when deputies attempted to detain him, resulting in additional charges. The store clerk, whose identity has not been disclosed, was unharmed despite the harrowing encounter.
