The town of Buckeye is stepping up its game when it comes to road safety, and it wants to hear from you. Launching a public survey as a part of its larger mission to make streets safer for everyone, the municipality is eager to gather input on current transportation conditions. With a handsome $600,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Safe Streets and Roads for All Program in its pocket, Buckeye is setting its sights on a well-rounded Transportation Safety Plan that gives a nod to the needs of all its residents.
Buckeye is currently in the initial stages of developing its transportation safety plan, aiming to improve safety and accessibility. Key to this effort is input from community members who use Buckeye's roads daily. According to a recent release available on the official website, Buckeye states, "We encourage you to participate in our survey to help us accurately assess our current safety standards and identify areas for improvement."
Want to make a difference on Buckeye roads? Joining the survey is easy. Simply visit the survey online at buckeyeaz.gov/safestreets to share your input. You can also sign up for updates on the Transportation Safety Plan at the same website.
