The City of Casa Grande is calling on its residents to voice their opinions on city affairs through a new initiative, “Engage Casa Grande!”, a set of community engagement surveys aimed at collecting feedback to shape the city's strategic planning and future development strategies. The first survey opened to the public yesterday, and covers diverse issues ranging from public safety to economic development.
Mayor Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons emphasized the importance of citizen involvement, stating, "We value our residents’ input and are committed to ensuring that their voices are heard." Fitzgibbons invited the community to participate, asserting, "The survey is an opportunity for everyone to shape the future of Casa Grande and contribute to our shared vision for a thriving, inclusive city," according to a report from the City of Casa Grande's civic alerts page.
In an effort to be accessible, the survey is available online, on the City of Casa Grande’s Facebook page, and can be filled out using any device. For residents without digital access, printed versions are up for grabs at various municipal locations, including City Hall and the Casa Grande Public Library, among others.
With a closing date of Friday, January 31, the city assures that all survey responses will be confidential. The feedback will then be presented to the Casa Grande City Council and incorporated into strategic discussions. Detailed results are scheduled for posting on the city’s Public Engagement page on February 7. For further information or assistance with the survey, residents are encouraged to reach out to the Public Information Office.
The city's approach draws together the perspectives of Casa Grande's populace to collectively determine the trajectory of the community's growth and well-being. Embracing this civic opportunity, residents are urged to stay connected, stay engaged, and stay informed by participating in the ongoing Community Engagement Survey.
