Today’s sunny skies and a high near 41 degrees give way to a calm evening with temperatures dropping to around 25, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The current wind chill might make it feel colder, so residents should bundle up if heading out.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, the forecast predicts increasing clouds with a high near 45 degrees, making it slightly warmer than today. The tranquility of the weather will shift as night falls, with showers likely after 3 a.m. and the temperature holding steady at 37 degrees. The chance of precipitation is placed at 60%, with new precipitation amounts ranging between a tenth and quarter of an inch, possible.
The start of the workweek brings more active weather with showers mainly before 11 a.m. on Monday and temperatures climbing to a high near 52. The winds are expected to pick up as well, with a south wind turning west in the afternoon and gusting as high as 25 mph. According to NWS, the chance of precipitation reaches 80% before giving way to a clearer Monday night.
Skies are anticipated to clear up for Tuesday, with sunny conditions returning and a high near 43 degrees. This pleasant weather is expected to extend into the evening with a clear night and temperatures dipping to around 22 degrees. This pattern of sun and cooler nights will persist through to the end of the week, with highs holding steady in the low 40s and nighttime lows hovering in the low 20s.
