Continuing the investigation from the domestic violence assault call on Tuesday, 30-year-old Shakara Linette Sinclair was brought into the Law Enforcement Center (LEC), where she was questioned and subsequently charged with Boyd's murder, as detailed in a statement obtained by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Newsroom.
Investigators converged on the 5700 block of Leake Street following the incident report. The late-night discovery of Boyd's gunshot wound led to his pronouncement of death at the scene by MEDIC.
