The day's breeze is set to come from the south, potentially accelerating to gusts of up to 30 mph.
Tonight's outlook is mostly clear with the low anticipated around 39 degrees, while the south wind is predicted to shift north-northwest after midnight. Residents might want to secure any loose outdoor items as gusts could once again reach nearly 30 mph. The brisk weather isn't set to halt anytime soon, with Saturday expected to be sunny and the mercury not quite mustering to crest past 49 degrees. The north wind, uncompromising, will persist at roughly 15 mph, showing gusts that could once again surpass the 20 mph mark.
The clear trend continues into Saturday night with the temperature dipping down to around 24 degrees and the north wind slightly calming to speeds of 10 to 15 mph, though gusts could still rise to nearly 20 mph. Sunday's conditions promise unabated sunshine, but the temperature is foreseen to hover close to 37 degrees, with the north wind sustaining its presence up to 15 mph and gusts potentially escalating to 25 mph.
Looking ahead to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it appears it will be mostly sunny with highs around 35 degrees, and a gentle east wind expected to flow at 5 to 10 mph. Monday night invites a 20 percent chance of snow showers before midnight, adding a brief touch of variety to the mostly clear week. As per the National Weather Service, the low that evening will drop to around 22 degrees, complemented by a northeast wind traveling at a light 5 to 10 mph. "A 20 percent chance of snow showers before noon" is also projected for Tuesday, afterward giving way to mostly sunny skies with highs in the vicinity of 36 degrees. The wind on Tuesday is set to softly brush from the north-northeast direction at about 5 mph.
The rest of the week takes a slightly warmer turn, with Wednesday displaying mostly sunny conditions and temperatures predicted to reach near 47 degrees, followed by a mostly clear Wednesday night with a low of around 30 degrees. Thursday is forecast to remain mostly sunny with the high anticipated to be near 51 degrees.
