The Ellis County Commissioners’ Court is slated to review a proposed change in the layout of Sheppeard Estates West come February. The meeting announced on Ellis County's official website, will have on its agenda a replat application that aims at subdividing Lot 2 into two lots identified as Lot 2-R1 and 2-R2. What was once a single 5.135-acre plot at the junction of Shiloh Road and North Walnut Grove Road, may soon be two if the court gives the green light.
This development move is scheduled to be discussed in a public forum on February 4, around the late afternoon at 2:00 PM. The rendezvous for this civically engaging event will be at the historic Ellis County Courthouse, precisely on the second floor of the building located at 101 West Main Street in Waxahachie, Texas.
