Earlier today, the streets of west Charlotte were marred by tragedy. At approximately 2 a.m., a violent collision claimed the life of one individual on Donald Ross Road, an area delineated by Wilkinson and West boulevards. WBTV reported that the accident resulted in not only a fatality but also left another person with serious injuries, who was subsequently transported to the hospital.
Details on the crash remained sparse, but Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were at the scene closing the road at Wilkinson Boulevard during their investigation.
