In connection to a shooting on Gull Road last October, four individuals were arrested following a surveillance operation by the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team and Crime Reduction Team. Four people, including two 18-year-olds and two 17-year-olds, were arrested with two guns, one having an extended magazine. They face felony charges after trying to hide one gun under the seat. Authorities also found two modified handguns capable of fully automatic fire during a search on Forbes Street. A manhunt is ongoing for Dominique Motton, linked to an October shooting. Kalamazoo Police Chief David Boysen urged public help, saying, "If you are a shooter in Kalamazoo, we know who you are," as they work to reduce gun violence and catch those responsible, as reported by WOOD TV.
According to the Kalamazoo Public Safety on their Facebook page, Javion Jackson has been charged with nine felonies, including reckless firearm use and property damage, in connection to the Gull Road incident.
