According to a social media post by Jacksonville Public Safety, "The Jacksonville Police Department is asking for your help identifying the male in the attached photograph. He is a suspect in a larceny from Walmart (2025 N Marine Blvd)." Community members who recognize the suspect are encouraged to reach out to JPD Detective S. Bloomfield directly or to remain anonymous, they may also contact Crime Stoppers.
Walmart, a retail giant often at the center of local petty crimes, has not issued a statement on this specific incident. The suspect's image can be clearly seen in the photograph circulating online, with hopes that someone will come forward with information. Jacksonville Public Safety has affirmed that any assistance in this matter could be financially rewarding for the tipster, with Crime Stoppers offering cash rewards up to $5,000 for tips significantly aiding law enforcement.
The process to provide tips is designed to protect the identity of the informant.
