
In a recent law enforcement operation, the Detroit Police Department teamed up with Eastpointe Police, resulting in a significant narcotics bust. ClickOnDetroit reported that during the raid on January 17, officials seized various drugs with a combined street value of over $419,000, in addition to firearms and cash.
The sting took place on the 14000 block of Rossini Drive, where officers discovered and confiscated cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, ecstasy, methamphetamine, various illicit pills, and an unidentified powder. Despite the 12 misdemeanor arrests, the Detroit Police Department's social media post indicated two felony arrests, contributing to the operation's supposed success.

Officers made two felony arrests, 12 misdemeanor arrests and confiscated the following items:

Among the contraband, the Detroit Police Department reported the seizure of 312.6 grams of cocaine, 54.9 grams of fentanyl, 27.2 grams of heroin, 1.7 grams of ecstasy, 351.1 grams of methamphetamine, 109.3 grams of various illicit pills, and 142 grams of an unknown powder. Also included in the seized items were $1,391 in cash, one shotgun, and four handguns.
While the exact details of the operation's execution remain undisclosed, the Detroit Police Department's social media post offered a quick glimpse into the coordination amongst local law enforcement agencies working under the Detroit Multijurisdictional HIDTA Task Force.
