As revealed by the District Attorney's statement, Metoyer was also implicated in a December 27 shooting near 7th and Figueroa streets after a man declined to give him money.

Accusations against Metoyer include three counts of attempted murder, four counts of robbery, and one count of attempted robbery, coupled with allegations of personal firearm use and causing great bodily injury by firearm discharge, as detailed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. He could be facing life in state prison if convicted on these charges, and he is currently being held on a substantial $4,100,000 bail. The case followed investigation efforts spearheaded by the Los Angeles Police Department.
