
The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help from the public in tracking down two individuals linked to an armed robbery in Northwest Washington. The incident took place on Park Road on the evening of December 16, leaving a pedestrian without their belongings but fortunately unharmed.
At around 7:51 p.m., police were alerted to the robbery. Walking along the 1300 block, the victim was set upon by the suspects who, after a quick confrontation, ran off with the victim's property. According to the Metropolitan Police Department's report, the victim remained uninjured despite the harrowing experience.
Sourced from the authorities, the police urge anyone with information on the robbery to stand down from making contact with the suspects and instead reach out to law enforcement immediately. The department is offering a reward, which can be as high as $10,000, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
