The Milwaukee Brewers have announced their telecast rights agreement with FanDuel Sports Network for the upcoming 2025 season. The deal, which involves Diamond Sports Group, the parent company of the newly rebranded FanDuel Sports Network, previously known as Bally Sports, will ensure that Brewers fans have access to the games across multiple platforms, as reported by CBS 58.
Rick Schlesinger, Brewers President – Business Operations, stressed the importance of accessibility for fans when he stated, "The media landscape is complex and evolving rapidly, but our top priority is to ensure that Brewers games are available to fans regardless of where they live and how they connect to the broadcasts," according to a Brew Crew Ball report; this new agreement is a testament to the Brewers' commitment to maintaining high television ratings, leveraging the popularity of the stars on their roster.
Through this partnership, FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin is set to deliver live games to fans across cable and satellite, along with a direct streaming package available through the FanDuel Sports Network app, as learned from FOX6Now. The agreement extends beyond traditional broadcasting, with Amazon Prime Video joining as a platform for streamers to watch Brewers games, starting from the 2025 season with an add-on subscription, aiming to provide even greater accessibility for the team’s fan base.
In addition to regular season games, the FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin will televise a selection of Spring Training contests, and all game broadcasts will come with a 30-minute pregame and a 30-minute postgame show, "with the exception of games selected for national partners," these enhancements are to create an all-encompassing viewing experience, with the Brewers games in 2024 averaging a rating of 5.0 in the Milwaukee DMA, underscoring the team's popularity in the region. Fans who previously used the Bally Sports app to stream Brewers games are being encouraged to update to the new FanDuel Sports Network app for the 2025 campaign to continue enjoying the game broadcasts, as per CBS 58.
