The trend of clear skies extends into Thursday night, with lows around 26 degrees. Friday will greet Minneapolitans with bright sunshine and cooler air as the high settles near 34 degrees.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday carries a 30 percent chance of snow primarily after noon, with increased cloudiness and highs creeping up to 37 degrees. These conditions are expected to persist into Sunday, albeit with a slightly reduced chance of snow and a mix of sun and clouds. "A 20 percent chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 38," states the National Weather Service's forecast. The upcoming Monday brings a more pronounced chill to the air, with partly sunny skies and a high near 17 degrees.
No hazardous weather is predicted following today's gusts, with the National Weather Service confirming, "No hazardous weather is expected at this time." Even so, residents should remain prepared for abrupt changes typical of Minnesota's dynamic climate.
