
A Mooresville Walgreens pharmacy encounter turned felonious when Keith Brandon Cunningham, 31, allegedly demanded opioids whilst implying he was armed during a robbery on January 5, as reported by WBTV. Cunningham was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon after he was apprehended by the Mooresville Police Department yesterday, according to the department's announcement.
The incident, which unfolded at the Walgreens located on River Highway, escalated when Cunningham handed over a note to the pharmacist demanding fentanyl and oxycodone, the authorities relayed, having investigated the case and identified Cunningham as the suspect before his capture, whereupon detectives, executing two search warrants in Statesville had detained Cunningham with the assistance of the Statesville Police Department, and as per Iredell Free News, the suspect is now being held without bond.
