A series of alarming 911 calls in Monroe County led to the arrest of a 34-year-old New York man last night after he reportedly broke into a home and assaulted the homeowner while naked. According to The Detroit News, Monroe County Sheriff's deputies were first alerted to the man's peculiar behavior near the 8800 block of Swan Creek Road. He allegedly said odd things before abandoning his vehicle and fleeing the scene.

The situation escalated when, during their search for the suspect, deputies received another call about a home invasion occurring approximately three-tenths of a mile away on Law Street. The naked suspect matched the description of the individual they were initially looking for, and he had entered a house. When confronted, the intruder reportedly assaulted the homeowner, as reported by ClickOnDetroit.

Upon deputies' arrival, the alleged perpetrator attempted to gain re-entry into the residence, assaulting the homeowner a second time in the process. He subsequently fought with the officers trying to apprehend him, states FOX 2 Detroit. The man, who has not been identified at this time, was eventually subdued by deputies and transported to the Monroe County Jail, where he faces several charges, including home invasion, assaulting police, resisting and obstructing arrest, and indecent exposure.
