
The Metropolitan Police Department has reported the arrest of a 27-year-old man in connection with a series of thefts from 7-11 stores in Northwest D.C. The suspect, Kevon Holston of Northeast, D.C., faces charges related to multiple robbery incidents at these convenience stores—an essential resource for residents.
According to a press release published by the Metropolitan Police Department, Holston was apprehended on Tuesday. Authorities outline that the thefts occurred over a month, with the first robbery taking place on November 27, 2024, where Holston is accused of stealing merchandise valued at $120.
The string of alleged thefts continued with another incident three days later, involving $150 worth of merchandise, and two separate incidents on December 28, 2024, with $70 and $15 taken, respectively. All incidents occurred in the 1600 block of 7th Street, Northwest, apart from the last event in the 500 block of K Street, Northwest.
