The New York Police Department is on the hunt for two male suspects following an assault involving firearm discharge in the Bronx, as per their latest social media call for assistance. The violent incident, which left a total of six people with gunshot wounds, took place on Monday, in front of 3544 White Plains Road within the 47th Precinct's jurisdiction.
Lacking identifiable characteristics at the moment, the suspects are reported to have executed the assault before escaping to an unknown location, this assault has, unsurprisingly, prompted an NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook post yesterday, where the NYPD pleads for any information from the public that may lead to an arrest; a gesture that not only illustrates the department's reliance on community involvement but also underscores their dedication to apprehending those responsible for disturbing the peace and safety of the borough's inhabitants.
The authorities have announced a reward of up to $3,500 for useful details that could resolve the case.
