The National Weather Service in Melbourne has updated Orlando's weather forecast for today through the upcoming weekend. After a chilly morning, Orlando residents can expect a brief warm spell, with temperatures predicted to reach the upper 60s to lower 70s, aligning with seasonal averages. This respite comes ahead of another cold snap, which is set to arrive on Sunday and carry over to next week.

Wind patterns will shift throughout the day, moving from southeast to southwesterly, aiding in moisture transport and temperature moderation. However, by tonight, winds are slated to intensify, escalating to 10-15mph and bringing isolated to scattered showers to areas north of the I-4 corridor. Low temperatures tonight will hover in the mid to upper 50s, likely staying above normal due to cloud cover and the southwesterly flow.

Boaters should exercise caution as hazardous boating conditions are expected to return this evening and continue overnight. The National Weather Service has issued several Small Craft Advisories covering all Atlantic waters, with seas anticipated to range from 4 to 7 feet. While gale force gusts may occur late tonight over some offshore waters, they are not persistent enough to necessitate a Gale Warning. Nonetheless, marine conditions will prove challenging with winds increasing to 20-30kts and isolated showers accompanying the front.

Saturday forecasts include continuing the cold front's journey through east central Florida, complete with additional showers, although no lightning storms are expected. While Saturday's daytime conditions may see a slight dip in temperatures north of I-4, they'll hover close to the norm for this time of year. As for the Atlantic waters, wind speeds will gradually subside after Saturday, leading to more favorable boating conditions through early next week. However, the sea heights might build up again on Tuesday, especially in the Gulf Stream regions.
