
An incident at the University of Michigan has drawn the attention of the local police after a stabbing occurred early yesterday morning at the construction site of the Michigan Medicine Pavilion. According to reports by CBS News Detroit, the assault happened around 7:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Ann Street, which is located north of Palmer Field.
The University of Michigan Police Department is actively searching for the suspect, described as a 40-year-old man with a beard, wearing brown tattered pants, brown boots, a quarter zip-up nylon dark coat with a hood, and a neon yellow hoodie underneath. The suspect, who reportedly fled on foot after the stabbing "with a sharp object," is said to be acquainted with the victim, as CBS News Detroit reported. Fortunately, the victim's injuries are non-life-threatening.
