The tennis and basketball courts at Puhi Park will be closed for renovations starting tomorrow, with work expected to continue through the second week of May, weather permitting. The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) is upgrading the facilities during this period, according to the county's annoucement.
For those impacted by the court closures, the resurfacing is part of a larger $3.1 million Playcourt Resurfacing Project, which includes Wailua Houselots Park, Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex, and Puhi Park. The project will be carried out by the selected contractor, Pacific Concrete Cutting & Coring, Inc.
