
A house fire in Rock Hill led to the closure of a segment of road today, as emergency crews tackled the blaze which erupted around midday. According to WBTV, the York County Sheriff's Department shut down the stretch between Horse Road and Williamson Road, after the fire broke out on Mobley Store Road. No injuries were reported at the time.
The site of the conflagration, pinpointed near 4300 Mobley Store Road, resulted in significant disruption as firefighters strived to extinguish the flames. In fact, local deputies could not provide, a timetable for when normal traffic flow would resume in the area. This was echoed by reports from QCNews, who confirmed the road closures and the location of the ongoing emergency response.

The York County Sheriff's Office stated they responded to the call just after 12 p.m., with multiple crews joining the effort to control and ultimately douse the flames that had taken hold of the residential property.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, the local community was promptly alerted to the potential dangers and the subsequent road closure. Commuters and residents alike were advised to seek alternative routes to avoid the cordoned-off area.
