
New Yorkers and tourists alike have two new Shake Shack locations to look forward to this year—with the chain's latest outposts set to bring their well-known burgers and shakes to Rockefeller Center and the Shops at Columbus Circle. NBC New York reports that the Rockefeller Center location, which will be nestled inside Under 30 Rock, a hub for dining and shopping beneath the iconic 30 Rockefeller Plaza, aims to provide a "taste of NYC" to diners in an area steeped in history and modern fervor, as Shake Shack's Chief Development Officer, Andrew McCaughan, stated their excitement to merge their brand's offerings with the city's vibrant culture.
Although there isn't an official opening date set for the Rockefeller outpost, it will mark the 57th location in New York State, and the company has affirmed plans for a 2025 launch date. This addition joins a growing roster of food and retail destinations at Under 30 Rock, such as the new Daily Provisions, and other soon-to-open eateries including Miznon, Naya, and Madras Dosa, Lobel’s, it looks like Rockefeller Center is shaping up to be a formidable contender in the city's competitive culinary scene, as described by NBC New York.
Further up Manhattan, Shake Shack will also make a grand entrance at the Shops at Columbus Circle, a notable absence filled in the bustling area near Central Park. As per Time Out New York, the third-floor space at 10 Columbus Circle will serve up the chain's beloved menu, with the Shack burger, 'shroom burger, bacon cheeseburger, and hand-spun shakes among the offerings, this expansion demonstrates the brand's influence in the New York dining scene since its inception in Madison Square Park back in 2004 by Danny Meyer and Union Square Hospitality Group.
Indicative of their popularity, a plush recent event by Shake Shack, branded as the Shake Shake's Truffle Table VIP experience, sold out swiftly, showcasing the brand's ability to innovate and create culinary excitement among its patrons. The fast-casual powerhouse continues to prove there's a niche for quality within the quick-serve market—a notion that has repeatedly drawn a devoted audience eager for Shake Shack's new releases, as Time Out New York highlighted.
