
On a fateful Friday evening in August last year, the streets of Northwest DC were rocked by gunfire that claimed the life of a young man. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the scene at the 1300 block of Girard Street, Northwest just before 7 p.m., finding 25-year-old Martinez Robinson, from Waldorf, MD, mortally wounded. Despite transport to a local hospital and frantic efforts to save him, the victim passed away.
The painstaking investigation, spanning several months, led to the apprehension of 46-year-old Quateze Moore of Northwest, DC. As highlighted in a press release by MPD, Moore has been charged with Second Degree Murder While Armed, under an outstanding DC Superior Court arrest warrant. His connection to the victim, the motives, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under close examination as the case moves forward.
