
A 16-year-old male was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by three individuals he described as "acquaintances" in the Wells/Goodfellow neighborhood of St. Louis. The robbery, detailed by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, occurred in the 5800 block of Selber Court on the afternoon of last Monday.
The teenager, who has not been identified due to his age, told police he knew the assailants only by their nicknames. According to a statement obtained by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the event took, place as he was spending time with the trio when they "suddenly pointed firearms at him." The suspects then entered the boy's apartment, took two firearms, and then, fled from the scene.
Fortunately, the juvenile was unharmed during the incident. However, the event has sparked an ongoing investigation by District 5 police looking to piece together the circumstances of this bold mid-day robbery. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and the police are calling for anyone with information to come forward.
