The Los Angeles community is grappling with the sudden disappearance of Anthony George Martinez, a 14-year-old boy last seen on New Year’s Day in the city of Maywood. KTLA report states that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has issued a special bulletin classifying Anthony as a "critical missing" juvenile and is seeking assistance from the public to help locate him.
Having no history of running away, Anthony's sudden absence has left his family deeply concerned for his well-being. Details provided by the Sheriff’s Department described that around 1:30 p.m., Anthony was spotted on the 5000 block of Pine Avenue, on New Year's Day, when he vanished, the Sheriff's Information Bureau emphasized. The youth stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and is of Hispanic descent with brown eyes and a black faded haircut. Last seen, he was wearing a black puffy zippered jacket, blue jeans and had with him a wooden rosary and a gold cross necklace, accoutrements imbued with delicate personal significance. Anthony is said to be without any known medical issues, which only adds to the urgency and gravity of his disappearance.
The Sheriff's department is ardently soliciting the help of the public.
