The incident occurred at the intersection of Admiral Way and Dayton Street around the early hour of 4:09 a.m., as first reported by KOMO News. The victim, believed to be in his late teens to early twenties, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
According to KING 5, the authorities are currently searching for between four to six suspects who were reportedly dressed in dark clothing at the time of the shooting. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain under investigation, however, a verbal exchange preceding the gunfire has been confirmed by the police, indicating that the conflict may have escalated rapidly.
The search for the suspects continues as the Edmonds Police Department combs through the area for any leads. As of now, the suspects have managed to elude capture and their identities remain a mystery.
