Thrill-seekers and video game aficionados in the Valley, prepare to strategically maneuver through the immersive realms of virtual reality and electric superkarts. Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is about to flag off their second Arizona facility in Glendale, following hot on-the-tire treads of their Chandler location, which opened its doors to the public last year on February 28. According to the information acquired by ABC15, expect to overindulge in more than 100 arcade games, virtual reality experiences, and a 7D Xperience motion theater, along with other attractions within the sprawling 98,000 square feet domain starting April 29.

The Glendale site plans to bring much of the same adrenaline-pumping entertainment as its precursor, including high-speed electric superkarts to race on a multilevel track. As reported by Ahwatukee Foothills News, two different dining options are available to quickly refuel or to leisurely dine amidst the fast-paced environment. Ed Childs, general manager for the Chandler location, reminisced about his initial stint at a racing entertainment venue and his journey back to Andretti, telling Ahwatukee Foothills News, "There was always something about Andretti, knowing that they were southeast based, I obviously knew about the brand and always wanted to join."

Both Valley locations share a promise to deliver a family-friendly atmosphere that caters to various age groups. Grown-ups can unwind at the bar as their little ones can choose to either blaze around the race tracks or duel it out in the two-story laser tag arena. The Glendale facility is already accelerating its operations by hosting a job fair from March 10 through April 5, to welcome potential team members aiming to make a mark in the entertainment industry.

To sustain the momentum leading up to the grand opening, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games plans to generously gift an Andretti-logo YETI tumbler to the first 50 guests on April 29. They are also set to offer a free hour of arcade gameplay to the first 100 visitors on that following Saturday, as per details released by ABC15. The audience can expect to virtually engage and physically compete, leveraging the latest in gaming technology, while possibly stumbling across experiences that defy expectations.

The venue extends an open invitation to curious onlookers, allowing them to pop in without a cover charge, while those seeking to actively participate will pay for each attraction. For the gaming enthusiasts who wish to consistently test their skills, memberships are available offering a discount on the variegated activities that Andretti prides itself on. With a medley of entertainment options ranging from a test of speed on the kart tracks to immersive escapades in virtual reality.
