
Early Tuesday morning, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a fire that broke out at a local storage facility, causing considerable alarm as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
The incident occurred around 1:46 A.M. at Victoria Self Storage on Base Line Road, when the business office was found fully engulfed in flames and while the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department managed to put out the fire, it was noted that the facility's windows and an onsite ATM were also victims of vandalism, the deputies arrived and assessed the scene but no suspects were located at or near the premises.
Subsequent to the fire being tamed, the Sheriff’s Department’s Bombs and Arson Investigators took over to fathom the cause of the incident, which as of now remains a mystery—they urge anyone with insights into the event to step forward.
