The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is seeking help from the community in locating 79-year-old Kenneth Wayne Williams, who has been reported missing. Williams, whose family has expressed concern regarding his safety due to cognitive issues, was last seen at his residence at the 10200 block of Tisbury Road on the evening before the report was filed. The call for public assistance was shared by the CMPD in hopes of finding Williams who departed from his home on foot and has not been seen since.

According to the CMPD official report, Williams left his house around 10:00 pm but his intended destination remains unclear. The police have described his last known attire as burgundy sweatpants, a grey t-shirt, and a black winter coat. With the family raising the alarm due to his cognitive condition, the police urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward. In the appeal for community support, the CMPD emphasized the urgency, pleading for anyone who might have seen Mr. Williams or who has any relevant information to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
