According to the NWS report, today holds a 20 percent chance of showers after 4 pm, despite the mostly sunny skies and a high of 72°F. As the evening comes around, the chance for showers slightly increases to 30 percent, mainly between 7 pm and 5 am, with new precipitation amounts less than a tenth of an inch possible. Calm winds are expected to shift to the east at around 5 mph.
The weekend forecast suggests a continuation of this unsettled pattern. Saturday could see a slight chance of showers before and after the afternoon, leading into a partly cloudy night with patchy fog expected between 1 and 4 am. The NWS details that Sunday will offer a reprieve from the moisture with sunny skies and a high near 72°F, but the dry spell is expected to shortly break, giving way to a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight.
Monday and Tuesday will be cooler with more rain. Monday has a 50% chance of showers, which increases to 80% on Tuesday. The weather starts sunny but will turn cloudier as the week goes on. Rain is expected to continue through Wednesday and Thursday, with a 70% chance of showers, keeping the skies mostly cloudy and temperatures mild in the 60s, as per the National Weather Service.
