If you've ever strolled through Heritage Park, appreciated the Old Iron Bridge, or relaxed under the shade of the Historic Tree Grove, you've experienced the fruits of the Euless Historical Preservation Committee's labor. This diligent group is dedicated to preserving the area's historical tapestry, ensuring that its rich cultural heritage continues to inform and define the present, interweaving past and future in a uniquely Euless narrative.
Meeting monthly, these volunteers discuss plans and projects and form strategies to keep Euless's history at the forefront of community consciousness. The Committee acts as a guardian over the physical remnants of bygone eras and fosters awareness, creating a cultural bridge that spans the divide between bygone eras and modern times.
The Historical Preservation Committee is looking for new volunteers who share their enthusiasm for local history. So, if delving into genealogical research, planning events, or maintaining historical landmarks sounds like your volunteer work, they want to hear from you. Information on how to get involved can be found by contacting the City Secretary’s Office at 817-685-1434, as reported by the City of Euless.
