Euless senior citizens, it's time to welcome the spring season with various activities tailored just for you. The Senior Center is hosting a special lineup of events in March that promises to blend education, socializing, and good old-fashioned fun. One highlight on the schedule is a trip to D.J.’s Classic Alpacas set for Monday, March 3, at 10 a.m., located at 8600 Indian Knoll Trail. According to the City of Euless, seniors will get to "meet and learn about alpaca history and the unique personalities of the herd."
Before visiting the herd, participants will enjoy brunch - an ideal start to what is sure to be an enlightening outing. The visit is a chance to interact with animals and learn something new, encapsulating the essence of engagement the Senior Center aims to provide. The cost to share in this experience is $15, and remember, closed-toed shoes are a must on the working farm. Ensure you register in time to secure your spot on this delightful excursion.
But the entertainment doesn't stop there. On March 7, at 11 a.m., the Senior Center shifts into celebration mode with its 'Spring Fling' event. Members can bask in the spring air while enjoying many activities, from games to grooving to live music. A car show and food trucks will also be on-site, offering a dash of nostalgia and bites to savor.
