
An individual's life was tragically cut short following a shooting incident outside a Smokey Bones restaurant in Fayetteville, authorities confirmed. The Fayetteville Police Department disclosed that the emergency call was received shortly before the early evening, at approximately 4:58 p.m. yesterday, with officers arriving at the restaurant located at 1891 Skibo Road, near Cross Creek Mall, according to CBS17.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot and the casualty was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries; this 18-year-old was later identified as Sencedrick Barham by the police and their work continues as they probe the incident as a homicide, ABC11 reported. As the investigation is unfolding no arrests have been made and additional details are forthcoming.
